As an AVP, Compensation, you will provide expert oversight and guidance to the company’s overall approach to compensation. The AVP Compensation partners with company leaders to develop compensation policy, strategy andphilosophy.

Responsibilities:

· Provide thought leadership on compensation policies and practices and serve as the subject matter expert on compensation strategy for the organization.

· Develop compensation strategies that are consistent across the organization and legally compliant, while meeting strategic operational objectives.

· Guide organization in the development and assimilation of best practice programs and policy designs.

· Lead and manage compensation reporting and analytics for the company. Provide business leaders and HR business partners with critical information needed to make data driven decisions.

· Lead and manage the day-to day responsibilities of the compensation function.

· Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommend plan revision as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and company objectives; coordinate standardization and implementation and provides guidance across the organization.

· Oversee annual compensation survey submission and marketing pricing activities.

· Provide expertise in the development of reports and presentations to the Executive Leadership Team.

· Remain knowledgeable of federal, state and local laws to ensure that the compensation programs are compliant with corporate policies and government regulations.

· Manage and provide training and development to HR staff across the organization.

· Selects vendors and managing vendor relationships.

· Develop and partner with HRBP's and Recruiters on market data needs and analyses related to preparation of executive employment offers and salary adjustments.

· Perform ad hoc projects including research, analysis and reports presenting findings/recommendations to varying levels of HR and business management.

· Lead the annual compensation planning process.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Master’s Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

· Ten (10) or more years of related experience.

Experience managing compensation in a healthcare/hospital environment preferred.
