Canyon Ridge Hospital is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Inpatient Therapist to join our team.

Canyon Ridge Hospital has serviced the Greater Inland Empire since 1989. Canyon Ridge is a 157-bed acute, locked psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents ages 13-17, adults and older adults.

We believe in an individualized, patient-focused approach to diagnosis and treatment. For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. In these cases of dual diagnosis, we treat the patients in the best way possible given their specific needs.

The Inpatient Therapist provides group process and/or didactic psychotherapy, multiple family group psychotherapy, chemical dependency educational groups and, at times, individual interventions while ensuring deliverance of quality treatment to psychiatric patients and their families.

  Qualifications

  Position Requirements:

• Therapists for all process/groups shall be a mental health clinician who is registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or California Board of Psychology and Maintain CPI training, if license certified-eligible, conforms to all regulations regarding supervision. Group therapists shall meet competency requirements for the Group for which they provide facilitation; knowledge of advanced principals of abnormal psychology; skills in conducting group therapy. Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential; in the absence of these qualifications upon hire, must demonstrate ability to learn these concepts and develop these skills within reasonable time frame. Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
