Radiance Technologies is seeking a highly qualified and motivated engineer or scientist to serve as a Missile System Engineer on foreign surface-to-air missile systems in support of Integrated Technical Evaluation and Analysis of Multiple Sources (ITEAMS) projects. The candidate will lead or support the analysis of the missiles propulsion subsystem, guidance and navigation, airframe, and control subsystems using insights gained from intelligence data. The candidate will work with a multi-discipline team to develop a comprehensive understanding, assessment, and design of the foreign missile. The project will include modeling and simulation to characterize missile performance; and ensuring the overall assessment is consistent with foreign design philosophy and the available intelligence data.

Required Skills

Bachelors degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or STEM-related degree.

US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.

Experience in weapons systems design, missile systems design, or weapons systems performance analysis

Able to perform exploratory analysis and research, and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate successfully with other internal and external stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to succinctly describe complex technical scenarios in simple, easily understood terms.

Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

Required Experience

Four or more years experience with missile systems/subsystems, such as any of the following: propulsion, airframe, controls, materials, guidance and navigation, fuze, warhead, missile signatures, or seekers.

Desired Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly

Previous ITEAMS experience

Previous experience characterizing missile systems based on incomplete information.

Experience using C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Simulink, or other programming languages.

Experience supporting US Government SandTI Centers.
