What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Integration Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing and be well-versed in integrating SAP with various Manufacturing Systems such as MES, automation platforms, and scheduling solutions, LIMS, and others.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Leverage prior experience to establish and enforce integration and data standards and assist in developing secure, scalable governance, integration patterns, best practices and operating model for all Integrations within the Manufacturing and Quality Systems Portfolio

  • Lead IT integration, design and configure new API enhancements of the SAP S/4 HANA Platform in partnership with Enterprise IT organization.

  • Lead or participate in business sessions to identify and document integration use cases.

  • Resolution of simple to very complex integration and implementation issues

  • Drive and produce recipe standardization across API SAP and MES.

  • Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate integration requirements across manufacturing systems.

  • Design and lead implementation of integration solutions within the S95 architecture, across the Manufacturing solution portfolio.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into system requirements.

  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to GMP standards and regulatory compliance ensure smooth data flow and system compatibility.

  • Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies and evaluate their application within our manufacturing environment.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to individual product teams supporting SAP integrations.

What You Should Bring

  • Extensive understanding of SAP HANA technology including its functions, features and system integration.

  • Understanding of the process and execution details of the design, development, and deployment of the interface and integration points configured in the SAP Process Orchestration (Po) / Process Integration (Pi) Platform.

  • Techno-functional expertise in SAP EWM/PP/QM modules to configure and maintain world class integrations to meet current requirements and emerging pharmaceutical operational challenges.

  • Experience using various tools such as SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP PI/PO, SAP Gateway, among other API integration management tools.

  • Core knowledge related to ISE S95 and S88 principles and IT/Automation integration.

  • Expertise in designing interface solution based on functional specifications and reviewing technical specifications.

  • Experience working with validated systems in a GMP environment within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Preferred expertise in at least one of Lilly’s platforms, including Rockwell Automation, PMX/PharmaSuite; Emerson DeltaV, Syncade, RTMS and; OSI PI Data Historians, etc.

Your Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ of hands-on-experience in the design, development, and implementation of various SAP integration solutions

  • 2+ years of experience in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
