Job Description: Independent Driver at Mobile Careway
Position Overview: Mobile Careway is seeking a reliable and independent driver to join our team. As an independent driver, you will play a crucial role in providing transportation services to our clients, ensuring they reach their destinations safely and on time. You will operate company vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Transportation Services: Safely transport clients to and from their appointments, medical facilities, residences, and other destinations as needed.
- Schedule Management: Coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Client Assistance: Provide assistance to clients as needed, including boarding and disembarking vehicles and handling mobility aids or equipment.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating company vehicles. Maintain a clean driving record.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with dispatchers and supervisors to relay important information regarding routes, schedules, and client needs.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant transportation experience.
- Emergency Response: Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, following company protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience as a driver, preferably in a transportation or healthcare setting.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and routes.
