This is a job for a NDT Level II Aerospace Technician position with a company located in Madison, MS.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled NDT Level 2 Aerospace Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in non-destructive testing methodologies within the aerospace industry, with a preference for individuals with military aerospace experience. This role is critical in conducting detailed inspections of aircraft components to detect imperfections or defects that could compromise safety.

Key Responsibilities: Perform non-destructive inspections using techniques such as Ultrasonic (UT), Eddy Current (ET), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT). Interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records of inspections and tests. Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to recommend repair or replacement of aircraft components as necessary. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and standards. Provide technical support and guidance to Level 1 technicians and other staff. Stay updated with the latest NDT technologies and practices.

Qualifications and Experience: Certification as an NDT Level II Technician in at least two methods (UT, ET, MT, PT), as per NAS 410 Standard. Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace NDT, with a strong preference for candidates with military aerospace experience. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical documents, including blueprints, schematics, and FAA regulations. Proficiency in using NDT equipment and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Must be able to obtain and maintain an FAA repairman certificate.

Preferred Qualifications: Military experience in aerospace maintenance and repair, with a focus on non-destructive testing. Experience working in an FAA-certified repair station. Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement practices.
