Paycom Online Commissions Analyst I in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

This position will work closely with Accounting, Operations, and Sales Leaders to provide insights into new sales and commissions through various reporting and analysis as well as perform day to day transactional activities of the Booked Sales and Commissions Team including the calculation and reporting of sales activities and commissions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather, interpret, and analyze complex data sets to provide insights to Leadership

  • Analyze new sales and commissions metrics as well as processes and policies to ensure alignment with objectives, including establishment of KPIs

  • Calculation of monthly commissions for all sales channels and various complex department bonuses with a high degree of accuracy

  • Consistently review processes and procedures for improvement opportunities and efficiency enhancements, including partnering with development to automate processes and reports where feasible

  • Analyze and assess processes and procedures for improvement to enhance department workflow

  • Partner with various departments to develop and improve reporting provided to Leadership to enable sound business decisions

  • Respond to inquiries from senior management or company-wide personnel regarding analysis, reporting, or other ad hoc requests

  • May be responsible for the training and development of new hires

  • Adhoc projects

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience

Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a professional setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • Experience working with large amount of data for analysis

  • 2+ years’ experience in a professional setting, with time in the areas of accounting, finance, or sales

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from data

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Self-directed and able to provide meaningful insights with minimal guidance

  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability

  • Complete work within deadlines
