The Project Management team oversees the delivery of PPD groups collaborating to support our clients. In short, you are a crucial piece in earning the trust of our clients.

We have a new vacancy in our Peri Post Approval (Late Phase) PM team for Associate Project Manager .

This is an entry point into the Project Management Team and is a step into building experience in defined operational deliverables. The successful candidate will drive and own a sub-set of project-specific activities as directed by the Project Lead. The role holder provides ownership related to the compilation of tasks to support overall delivery of the project (quality, time, cost).

To be successful, you will be a results orientated proactive individual, demonstrating effective communication skills and a strong internal/external customer focus with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Leads and/or contributes to internal planning meetings, training calls, client KOM and interim client teleconferences.

• Collaborates on the development of initial site list development (initial site prioritization).

• Ensures accuracy and quality of survey driven data, including review and QC of departmental deliverables at all stages of the feasibility conduct.

• Oversees and analyzes project status to ensure successful completion of milestones, timelines and deliverables.

• Serves as the primary point of contact for the department and liases cross-functionally.

• Reviews and analyzes project status to ensure successful completion of milestones, timelines and deliverables.

• Works with team to identify potential risks and out of scope activity; discusses contingency plans with strategist and/or PM; identifies risk trends across projects.

• Assists in the development of the feasibility budget in the instance of a budget modification. Manages feasibility hours / budget for assigned projects.

•Develops best practices for feasibility conduct.

•Ensures compliance with departmental training plans and required SOP/WPDs.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

  • Experience in the area of Infectious and Respiratory Disease

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years).

  • In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills, to include effective use of systems and applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as PPD systems (CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity)

  • Solid attention to detail and process focused

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Proactive and results-driven

  • Attentive to stakeholder needs

  • Good organizational, time management and planning skills to coordinate multiple projects and changing priorities

  • Basic therapeutic area awareness

  • Good understanding of the key principles of project management (time, quality, cost), including basic financial acumen
