Sustainability Consultant

We are in need of a strategic delivery-focused Sustainability Consultant with a strong background in both Management Consulting and Digital Transformation , as well as one or more key capabilities such as organizational change management, benefits realization/program management. This role will support the development and implementation of transformational solutions with key clients in both public sector and private sector across North America.

Work Style:

Remote : Candidates may be based anywhere in North America (US or Canada)

INDUSTRY AND FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

Scope of Responsibilities will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Act as a critical client contact and advisor throughout the sales and delivery cycle of citizen-centric transformational solution implementation.

  • Support both public-sector and private sector leaders to build and support the execution of a Digital Transformation and Sustainability vision.

  • Act as a trusted advisor at both the strategic level and the detail level.

  • Able to support full life-cycle delivery management and project management activities including planning, estimating, deliverables, value tracking, governance, financials, resource management, staffing, hiring, etc.

  • Possess strong knowledge of best practices both in North America as well as across the globe in key fields such as organizational change management and/or benefits realization/program management

  • Assess the business situation by engaging with varied levels and profile of stakeholders in support of digital transformation solutions and implementations

  • Support delivery in the design and implementation of digital transformation solutions

  • Experience supporting sales through industry differentiation (RFI / RFP proposal development, proof of concept, demo and orals, requirements gathering, estimates, etc.). to evaluate and solution options for best fit

  • Collaborate with other team members (involved in the requirements gathering, testing, roll-out and operations phases) to support seamless transitions

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field (eg. Environmental studies) or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in providing consulting and solutions to public and private sector clients as a Sustainability Consultant

  • 5+ years of consulting-industry experience working on medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a consultant on large scale transformation projects

  • Excellent skills communicating and writing technical concepts for different audiences including in support of responses to procurements (RFP, RFI, etc)

Sustainability Consulting & Desirable Skills & Experience.:

  • Global experience providing strategic advice and solutioning support as a Sustainability Consultant

  • Ability to create strategic roadmaps and sustainability plans for companies

  • Knowledge of current ESG trends in industries

  • Knowledge of tools and methodologies regarding sustainability monitoring and decision support management

  • Knowledge of sustainability compliance practices and policies

  • Knowledge of data management trends within the sustainability domain

  • Knowledge of sustainability practices/trends within supply chains

  • Strong client presence

  • Ability to work in a virtual global team environment that contributes to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects

  • Knowledge and certification in other key specializations such as management consulting (CMMI), OCM (Proscii), Benefits Realization/Program Management (PMI)

  • Hands-on project management skills

  • Willingness to travel to work with client or other internal solution delivery teams

Fujitsu salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $140,880 CAD to $197,232 CAD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
