Job Description

  1. Design Leadership:

  2. Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs that are innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

  3. Provide design direction and mentorship to junior architects and designers within the team.

  4. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to understand design requirements and develop creative solutions that exceed expectations.

  5. Project Management:

  6. Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

  7. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  8. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to integrate various building systems and ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction process.

  9. Technical Expertise:

  10. Utilize advanced knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction techniques to develop practical and compliant design solutions.

  11. Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accuracy and quality.

  12. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, resolve design issues, and ensure adherence to design standards and specifications.

  13. Client Relationship Management:

  14. Cultivate strong relationships with clients through clear communication, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.

  15. Present design concepts and project updates to clients and stakeholders in a compelling and persuasive manner.

  16. Proactively address client feedback and concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

  • Professional licensure as an architect (RA) required.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a focus on commercial, residential, or institutional projects.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading architectural projects from concept through construction.

  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
