This position is responsible for Field Surveying; Records Maintenance and Data Transfer, Use, and Coordination; Drafting Support; and Equipment Maintenance and other survey support.\ \ Ability to become proficient in the use of \"AiM\" Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software and mobile technology.\ \ Must use appropriate personal protective equipment as required (hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses, respirators, etc.). These items are provided and are not for personal use.

Must work safely, adhere to all safety requirements, and promote a safe work environment.

Typical hazards involved in working on or around construction sites, streets, and highways. A large percentage of required work is outside in variable weather.\ \ Exposed to extreme heat and cold, working around hazardous equipment. Outside in all types of inclement weather, high levels of dust and noise.

This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to traverse difficult terrain on job sites.\ \ Due to communication expectations of the position, the employee is required to maintain a personal cell phone and will be required to be continually available during and after normal working hours.

Employee in this position is required to be on rotating standby for emergencies and/or any other events after 5:00 p.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays.\ \ Employee in this position is required to work overtime after 4 p.m. when work requires.
